Château La Plume Blanche
Owner-grower
30 km north-east of Bordeaux and 8 km west of Saint-Emilion, Château La Plume Blanche is situated on the Condat peninsula, near Libourne, a stone's throw from the Dordogne. With 10 ha in the Bordeaux appellation, the vines are 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. The blend of these varieties gives body, suppleness, balance and a harmony of red fruits. With a clay texture, the earth of Château La Plume Blanche offers up a wine with exceptional aromas and very marked notes of raspberry and strawberry. The soil, rich in trace elements, naturally gives the vine high quality nutritive elements. The wine is made and bottled on the property. The knowledge and skills needed to do this have been passed down from father to son for 5 generations.
