For its second edition, the Essence des Sens exhibition will take place at the prestigious Les Halles de Beaune (17 and 18 March 2012), as a preamble of the Grands Jours de Bourgogne. Fifty wine exhibitors will be present. These winemakers are all involved in an ecological approach. These exhibitors are certified organic growers (or at least are in second year of organic conversion). They come from France (Alsace, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Cotes du Rhone, Loire Valley ...), but not exclusively. The Weingut Trautwein estate from the Keiserstuhl region (Germany) is the guest of this second edition.
Muriel Deleger (founder of the show) says that "in March 2010, the first edition of Essence des Sens hosted 35 areas and over 300 professional visitors, which convinced me to perpetuate the event". The exhibition will be open to the public Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 5:30 pm until 9:30pm. Sunday, March 18 (9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) the day will be reserved for professionals.
