Since 1945 the labels of Château Mouton Rothschild have been decorated by a different artist each year. The greatest names in contemporary art are present in this collection which is enriched every year. For the 2005 vintage, which will be available from spring 2008, Baroness Philippine de Rothschild has entrusted the task to Italian sculpter Guiseppe Penone.

The artist has described his desire to create an image showing the meeting of the magic of plant life with the hand of man to make a great Mouton label.
